CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (KWWL) -- A fire broke out in Cedar Falls Monday night, damaging a garage and a home above the garage. Public safety crews were dispatched to a home on College Street, near the intersection with W. 16th Street, around 11 p.m. They found the fire had spread from the garage into the home itself. The fire was put out fairly quickly and was contained to the basement. Public safety officials say no one was injured.
