TOM BARTON and ERIN MURPHY Courier Des Moines Bureau DES MOINES — Starting Friday, Iowans will see reduced unemployment benefits, child care providers will see relaxed regulations and schools will be banned from requiring COVID-19 vaccinations.Law enforcement can also start looking through your garbage without a search warrant.Gov. Kim Reynolds signed more than 150 bills into law this year passed by the Legislature. Many of those measures take effect Friday, the start of the state's new fiscal year.
