What a great place! We lived in Thunder Ridge apartments for a few months while looking for a home to buy and we really enjoyed our time there. Rent is reasonable and location is very convenient. The staff was very nice, courteous and prompt when things needed fixed. The property is very well maintained with beautiful landscaped grounds. I would highly recommend Thunder Ridge!

I lived here for 2 years from 2013-2015 while I went to grad school at the University of Northern Iowa. I miss this property so much... especially the staff. Locally owned with a caring touch. Candy , the manager, is an absolute sweetheart and will do whatever it takes to make you happy. The property owner, Adam, is also a really nice guy. Neither of them will not tolerate obnoxious behavior, especially by college students who treat the place like it’s a college dormitory. Sally at the front desk treats you like family. She asks how your day went and how everything is going and if you need anything. She will even hold packages for you in the office if you’re not home to receive them! The property is very much a young professional complex and MOST of your neighbors are super friendly and courteous. The ones who cause trouble aren’t there very long. I particularly enjoyed: Very reasonable rent (especially compared to what I pay in the big city for something similar). Maintenance is fast and done right the first time Modern appliances Attractive cabinetry You seldom hear your neighbors Garages available to rent at a very reasonable price Relaxing pond and grill area next to the leasing center. You’ll see ducks there frequently. Beautiful landscaping Quiet and safe neighborhood Snow is cleared quickly. It broke my heart to leave but I moved to the Washington, DC area to take an “adult job.” Needless to say, I will always compare every property to the Thunder Ridge standard. Unfortunately for me, no one has since measured up! If you want an opinion from a real former tenant with no agenda feel free to reach out to me. I have absolutely zero complaints about this place.
